This year the library introduces its new librarian, Mrs. Zysset. Also, there have been new books, magazines and an Auto Librarian System added to the library. The Auto Librarian System is a new system on three computers in the library that makes it a lot easier to find books. You can search for books by category, author, or title. Also in the Library there are lists of Accelerated Reading books. For all of you who aren't aware of the Accelerated Reader system, it is a system that quizzes students over books that they have read and gives them a specific number of points based on the difficulty of the book and on how many questions the student answered correctly on the quiz. As of right now, all middle school reading classes partake in the AR program. Soon to come will be the H.S reading classes to feature this wonderful system. The library is used for many different meetings for various school groups and is also used for meetings by teachers and other adults. There is a small computer lab in the corner of the library.
