The juniors are always the ones that pay for it; it is their gift to the seniors and their guests.
This year the juniors are planning to have a sunset theme.
The evening starts off with mass. Then there is a catered banquet. It is very nice and formal. Usually they have pictures, which are memories. They often have a DVD for the seniors or a glass picture or keepsake.
Prom often coordinates with blue with the ceiling decorations. It costs a lot less for the students because blue pays for it, prom usually costs around to 4000 dollars, to pay for that as sophomores and juniors you have fundraisers
After the dance is over around 1 am the students get to attend post prom and they can win money and other prizes. After their night of playing games around 3 or 4am they get to go eat breakfast at someone's house.
After prom there is always money left over for graduation and homecoming. Prom for many is the highlight of second semester and junior and senior year. Most girls do not get through it without tears, smiles, and good memories.
